Yoga is a beautiful dance between breath, body and spirit. It’s the union of your individual soul with the divine spirit. Asana, pranayama and meditation are used to create this union. In our modern society, we have become quite disconnected between our minds, physical bodies and heart centers. Asana merges the body, breath and spirit. Yoga is more than just a physical exercise, it’s a way of life.
Susan is a certified Yoga Teacher 200-RYT through Prairie Yoga and is currently pursuing her 500 hour certification in Prairie Yoga’s Advanced Teacher Training Program. She initially fell in love with yoga many years ago and decided to become a yoga teacher in 2013 to study yoga more internally and to deepen her knowledge and practice. That love and interest drew her deeper spiritually and ultimately to spread her love of yoga with others and has been teaching since 2013. Teaching with love and compassion, she finds great joy in inspiring others and in helping guide students on their own heart filled journey. In addition to her passion for yoga, she also has a passion for health and wellness. Being a vegan, she finds that living a cruelty-free existence fits very naturally with living a yogic way of life. Her faith resides in the mind-body-spirit connection and that we are all one. She is also a certified Reiki Practitioner, an amateur photographer, loves cooking and spending as much time in nature as possible.
