To help you connect better to your mind and body, Alli incorporates basic pranayama techniques. This will bring balance to your nervous system and help you connect to your breath, an essential part of both asana and meditation practices. You will be guided to focus on your breath and gaze,as well as making each movement mindful and purposeful. In the Yoga Sutras yoga is defined as“Yogas citta vritti nirodah”, which means“Yoga is the control of the fluctuations of the mind”. Alli will help you to experience your own practice so that you can take advantage of all of the benefits yoga has to offer both in your body and mind.
Inspired by the physical, emotional, and spiritual transformations she has experienced as a result of a regular yoga practice, Alli wanted to be able to share her passion with others.She became a certified Health Coach in July 2015 through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and then traveled to Koh Samui, Thailand to attend a 30-day intensive yoga teacher training with Centered Yoga. Her training is based in Ashtanga Vinyasa, with a special emphasis on pranayama and meditation.
